Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education
The Early Childhood Care and Education is a 2 year flexible program that combines alternating blocks of classroom theory and field practice. Students learn to work with children in a variety of early childhood development settings (thanks to the additional soft skills training) and age groups and also get to enjoy the benefits of international exposure. For field placement, students are placed by the institute to accredited ECD centers of good quality.

- Developmental Psychology
- Child Centered Teaching – Learning Approach
- Child Diagnosis
- Innovative Approaches to Literacy (Pre-reading and Writing skills, Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Spelling patterns, Comprehension)
- Family School Relationships
Period: full time and weekend programme
Duration: 2 years

Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants must have completed UCE with a minimum of 6 passes, inclusive of the English language.
